Hey…
Welcome to my site, stranger.
I’m Ryan and you have anxiety attacks. Of course I know it.
Why did you build this?
Here in the Philippines, I haven’t found a website dedicated to anxiety attacks. When I search online, all I find are highly technical articles from medical websites, scares me even more.
This site will not give you a cure, medication or therapy. These things are reserved only for doctors and professionals.
Empathy maybe the right word to describe my goal in managing and stopping anxiety attacks.
I built this website to share my experiences with you, probably we have something in common. Someone to talk to I guess.
- Anxiety sa Tetano Matapos Masugatan
- Palaging Nagbabasa ng Malubhang Sakit Kaya May Anxiety Attack
- Acid Reflux Dahil sa Anxiety Attack at Kakaisip
- Baka Biglang Ma-Heart Attack Habang Nagmamaneho
- Natalsikan ng Laway ng Aso Sa Mata
How Long Has It Been?
For me, it has been 23 years and counting since I first had the symptoms.
Before, I was not sure what’s going on with me. Felt really crazy. But thankfully I did not go medically nuts, otherwise I won’t be able to make this site for us.
Am I cured?
No or I’m not sure.
I’ve read that Anxiety attacks have no cure but can only be managed. But because I am able to manage it , I realized that I could actually post my experiences so that others can relate and give them comfort.
I’m not a doctor and I will NEVER give medical advice or suggestions to you. I am here as a fellow victim of this nasty condition.
Up to now, I still have some flare ups. But the good thing is I am now better at stopping them.
Here in the Philippines, mental health is not a big thing. It is often ignored and laughed upon. Maybe because of our culture. Filipinos have the tendency to be “happy go lucky”, admit it or not.
So we do not make a big deal of everything. But for real people like me and you, anxiety attacks are legit and can ruin a day.
Are We Going to Bore Ourselves Here?
No way. Anxiety attacks have caused us too much trouble. Why allow it to beat us further? This site will include various topics of everyday life. It is up to us to live a positive outlook.
Living with anxiety is possible, it doesn’t have to be about the disorder. It should be about us, living the normal way.
